This time, the full tide (“Mare Cheia”) of our new year brings to you the waves of top bossa nova classics and Juliana Areias’ original music created in collaboration with dear friends and talents from the four corners of the globe.

Mare cheia”: on the rise concert is a unique opportunity to embark on a special celebration of Juliana’s musical journey listening with exclusivity to some of the original songs, including “Mare cheia”, that will feature on Juliana’s first album currently under production.

Performed for the very first time at the Ellington Jazz Club by Graham Wood (piano), Marcio Mendes (guitar / percussion), Paul Millard (sax/flute), Pete Jeavons (bass) and Chris Tarr (drums); this milestone performance melds music notes and life adventures that carry flavours and influences from Juliana’s favourite composers such as Villa-Lobos, Tom Jobim, Djavan, Baden Powell, Joao Bosco and Lenine.
