Sunday Samba Summer Breeze… After performing for thousands of people at the Darling Harbour in Sydney recently, Brazilian singer Juliana Areias – the Bossa Nova Baby is back in town for a special performance at the Kulcha Festival Club as part of the Fremantle Festival 2011.
Global Tunes performed with Brazilian Passion. From silk bossas to sultry sambas, Juliana Areias’s four-continent repertoire embraces the best of the traditional and contemporary Brazilian music spectrum plus 
originals, improvisations and fusions. Performing with her, a stellar line up of musicians: Paul Millard ( sax/flute), Marcio Mendes ( percussion/backvocals) and Glenn Rogers ( guitar).
Juliana Areias is excited to come back to Kulcha which was her very first Australian Stage, bringings with her the magic subtleties, stories and the evolution of the bossa rhythm that has inspired people to sway gently for over 50 years.
