Internal Radio / Radio interna

Internal Radio – songs translating feelings.
Every day songs come up in my mind as a reflex of my heart. Everyone has its own special way to talk to God, to self and to connect to the world. Music is my way.
So I would like to open this space to share with you these feelings, ideias and inspirations.
Internal Radio #5 Haiti (Caetano Veloso/ Gilberto Gil) – 20/4/2016-

Ninguem. Ninguem eh cidadao.

Todos.

Pense no Brasil. “Reze” pelo Brasil.
O Brasil eh aqui. O Brasil nao eh aqui.
No one. No one is a citizen.
All. All of us are hypocrites.
It doesn’t matter if the eyes of the entire world , for a single instant can be looking towards the threat to our democratization.
We hear the “smiling silence” after the first vote section for presidential impeachment on Sunday  April 17th, 2016. We justify the unjustifiable and we allow a congress made of corrupt politicians in its majority to take this decision. In the other hard, we also justify the unjustifiable when we believe in the total innocence of a president  regarding the “Petrobras” greatest corruption scandal discovered during her government and that she “only” wanted to fortify her government by nominating Lula as her minister. But is it constitutional to impeachment someone without showing evidences? Who is not involved in corruption to be able to make this judgement?
Think of Brazil. “Pray” for Brazil.
Brazil is here. Brazil is not here.

Internal Radio #1 Verao ( by Rosa Passos and Fernando De Oliveira).  ” I desire the fervor of other times. And the beautity of those days. It rains so much in my feeling. And it’s summer, it’s summer, it’s summer. “
Friday 11/12/2015
This is one of the most beautiful songs I know and which frequently comes back in my mind, translating a deep feeling of contrast between internal and external reality. Verao ( Summer). ” A bus full of looking eyes pass by and a new desire animates me again. I desire the fervor of other times. And beauty of those days.

Cinco pranchas deslizam nas ondas /

Five surfboards slide on the waves
E os surfistas parecem voar
And the surfers seem to fly
Tem veleiros nos verdes ao longe
There are sailboats in the distance green
E o nascente promete um luar
And the spring promises a moonlight
Gaivotas disparam em seta
Seagulls shooting like arrows
Num mergulho sem freio no azul
in an unbridled diving into the blue
E eu me sinto, assim como o poeta
And I feel , as well as the poet
“água viva dos mares do sul”
living water of the South Seas
Tem conversas e risos nos bares
There are conversations and laughter in the bars
E lilases na tarde que finda
And lilacs in the afternoon ending
Passam ônibus cheios de olhares
Buses full of looking eyes pass by
E um desejo de novo me anima:
And a new desire animates me
Eu desejo o fervor de outros tempos
I desire the fervor of other times
E a beleza dos dias de então
And the beauty of those days
Chove tanto nos meus sentimentos
It rains so much in my feelings
E é verão, é verão, é verão
And it's summer, it's summer , it's summer
